Teachers
Javi Rodriguez is the middle school music teacher at Tinker K8. This is Javi's 2nd year teaching band, chorus and exploring music at Tinker K-8. Mr. Rodriguez earned his music performance degree at the University of South Florida and his master’s degree from Baylor University. He is a professional bassoonist who plays frequently with organizations including Venice Symphony and Gulf Coast Symphony. He will be teaching piano, vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass, all band instruments.
Mrs. Stokes is a proud music teacher in Hillsborough county specializing in elementary general music, and group ensembles such as chorus, percussion ensemble, and modern rock band. Teaching and making music with others is my passion in life. Her instrumental first love is the clarinet (been playing since I was 10!), but I am also a lover of guitar, ukulele, voice and piano. When not making music, my favorite things to do are read, spend time laughing with loved ones, snuggling with my kitty cats, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning (GO BOLTS!). She is so excited to be a part of The Studio family and can’t wait for all of the wonderful music we will make together! |
